There are numerous beautiful island paradises, all with their own unique charm and beauty.  From the Seychelles’ pristine coral reefs to the crystal-clear waters of the Caribbean to the exotic palm-lined beaches of Fiji, so many white sand beauties to choose from.  Difficult to narrow my list down as every island offers a unique experience.  But here we go…my Top 3.

 

Bora Bora, French Polynesia, Tahiti

Bora Bora is simply a Tahitian paradise. Of all my travels to exotic islands Bora Bora best exemplifies my image of the perfect island postcard.  With ridiculous turquoise waters, lush tropical vegetation, majestic mountain peaks, white sand beaches, and 5-star over-the-water thatched-roof bungalows it definitely checks off all the “paradise boxes”.

My family pampered ourselves to a two bedroom suite over-the-water bungalow.  The luxury French Polynesian resort is the South Pacific’s crown jewel – and receives our vote for the most beautiful place on earth.

 

The Maldives

I thought flying to the South Pacific was a journey from Los Angeles, well, I had to twice that to reach the remote islands of the Maldives…but well worth the travel.   Located in the middle of the Indian Ocean, the Maldives is made up of more than 1200 (mainly coral) islands, many with powder-soft beaches and emerald water.   Many of the petit islands are simply luxury resorts – it’s like your own private island – perfect for that romantic getaway.

Bali, Indonesia

Bali is an Indonesian island paradise with all the unexpected wonders a venturous traveler desire.  This exotic island with flowing white sand beaches and majestic volcanoes offers a unique cultural experience that many island resorts lack.  The Bali locals are known for their welcoming nature which sets the peaceful tone to your Bali journey.  The island is home to striking palaces and temples set against lush pristine jungle.  Bali is certainly in the running for the most beautiful island paradise in the world.
